Savour WinSport’s Inspired New Culinary Menu

Just in time for spring galas, graduations and celebrations WinSport's culinary team is excited to reveal a brand-new menu, packed with creative and diverse options for every occasion. We asked Kyle MacDonald, our Senior Manager of Food and Beverage to give some insight into the new culinary additions. The Inspiration

The culinary team carefully balanced innovation with tradition, knowing how much guests appreciate their favourite dishes. “Instead of a complete menu overhaul, our team made thoughtful enhancements and introduced new items inspired by popular demand”, says Kyle. By paying close attention to trends and guest feedback, they seamlessly incorporated fresh ingredients and flavours that have become customer favourites.

 

The Design Process

There’s a lot of back-and-forth between our sales team, culinary team and operations team to make sure everything works seamlessly. “The sales team shared what guests are asking for, the culinary team gets creative with recipe ideas, and the operations team ensures we can pull it off at our events”, says Kyle.

One of the most exciting parts of menu development was inspiring the culinary team to think differently. “I’ve only been with WinSport for 10 months, and I wasn’t entirely sure what the previous approach was, but I saw a chance to encourage creative thinking beyond the familiar” shares Kyle. Through open conversations and collaborative meetings with the Executive Chef and sous chefs, a vision that balanced bold innovation with the broad guest appeal was born. “Once the creative energy started flowing, everything clicked” he added. “Watching the team get excited about pushing their creativity was truly rewarding.”

 

Diverse Dietary Restrictions  

We believe everyone deserves a delicious meal, regardless of dietary needs. Whether you're vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free or have other preferences, we ensure there's something for everyone. Kyle shares “Flexibility is key, so we design meals that can be easily adapted without sacrificing flavour. Think gluten-free pasta options or versatile sauces that pair beautifully with plant-based proteins and meat. Rather than viewing dietary restrictions as limitations, we see them as opportunities to get creative”. Our goal is always to serve amazing food that makes every guest feel welcome and included.

New Additions That Enhance the Guest Experience

Kyle’s favourite addition to the menu is the Asian Noodle Action Station, a standout experience. It's a vibrant mix of flavours, featuring pork and kimchi dumplings, mini vegetable spring rolls, and Shanghai noodles, all coming together to create something truly special. “What makes it even more exciting is the chef-attended setup where guests get to watch their dishes come to life right before their eyes,” says Kyle.

Our new menu brings a fresh burst of flavour, variety and excitement to WinSport’s dining experience.

Here are a few other new additions:

  • Indian medley includes masala curry, Tandoori roasted chicken, samosas and more.
  • Ukrainian flavours include beef cabbage rolls, perogies, garlic sausage and more.
  • Platters include home-cooked chips with signature onion dip, Mediterranean spreads, charcuterie, smoked salmon and more.
