General Info
Participation at WinSport’s Performance Training Centre for use of the gym, training services, programs, lessons or camps (“Training”) is subject to completion of WinSport’s Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreements (the “Waivers”) by each member, participant or their parent/legal guardian prior to the first day of Training. PLEASE READ THESE WAIVERS CAREFULLY! By signing, you will waive or give up certain legal rights including the right to sue for negligence, breach of contract, or breach of the Occupiers’ Liability Act or claim compensation following an accident. In the event the Waivers are not completed, participation in Training shall not be permitted and a refund will be provided. The Waivers can be viewed and completed here. Please fill out the "Training Centers" waiver prior to your visit. This waiver is valid for one year from date of submission.
WinSport's Performance Training Centre (PTC) is an adult-only facility, meaning all users MUST be 18 years of age or older.*
For minors under the age of 18 years old that wish to use the facility, we offer Athlete Development Programs which are designed for athletes aged 9-17 who are seeking a competitive edge. Our Strength & Conditioning team at the PTC will educate all athletes in areas of efficient movement patterns, work capacity, strength, explosive speed, power, and agility to achieve sustainable peak performances.
*This excludes current National Sport School (NSS) students, or athletes under the age of 18 attending school, team, or personal training.
Running track hours are based on availability and subject to change. Use of the running track requires:
- Facility waiver to be filled prior to visit
- Purchase of Running Track Drop-in from the PTC Guest Services front desk

Your Gym Visit
Members are to park beside Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame (or the lot before the Hill Road gate) and come through the main plaza entrance to the Markin MacPhail Centre to access the PTC. Please see our map for exact locations.
A Sport Services Assistant will be behind the Front Desk at all times within our operating hours to assist you with any general or billing questions. We also have a coach on the gym floor throughout the day to answer any questions pertaining to training or equipment.

Request a consult for Customized Training through completing the Customized Training Request form online. Our coaching team will review the request form and match you with a coach to best suit your needs and help you achieve your goals.

*Please note that there is typically a 1-week waitlist during low season (June - August) and 2-weeks during high season (September - June) for Customized Training. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Cancellations & Reschedules:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before session date can be rescheduled directly with assigned S&C coach at no extra cost.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the session start date will be marked as a late cancellation and charged in full for the session.
Inability to close communication loop with coach directly, late arrival of over 15 minutes to session, or absence of session are considered a no-show and are subject to charge in full for session.
Sick Policy:
Sessions can be rescheduled at no charge due to illness upon the discretion of the assigned S&C coach.
If the participant is sick and cannot attend a lesson please contact coach directly. Additionally, if you are unable to reach your assigned S&C coach, please contact Sport Services at 403-247-5405 or [email protected] prior to the session to avoid charge for the session.
Additional Information:
In the event client’s assigned S&C has left Winsport, client will have the option to be placed with a new coach, or a refund of remaining sessions in Customized Training pack.
Documentation required when requesting a refund on remainder of a Customized Training pack or Drop-in pack. Documentation must be sent to assigned S&C coach email with [email protected] CC’ed.
Request a consult for Team Training through completing the Team Training Request form online. Our coaching team will review the request form and match you with a coach to best suit your team and help the team and the respective athletes achieve their goals.
Memberships and Fees
Members may cancel their membership by completing a Membership Cancellation Form. A Cancellation Form can also be obtained by emailing [email protected]. A cancellation fee still applies to any early termination of an Annual Membership as per the Terms & Conditions of your membership agreement.
