The WinSport Event Centre (in the Markin MacPhail Centre) is one of the premier live entertainment destinations in Calgary. A $350,000 upgrade allowed for the production of non-ice events, such as family events, graduations, concerts, sporting events, and comedy shows. The Event Centre is capable of hosting both seated and standing events, in the round and end-stage format. The Event Centre also has four adjoining skyboxes, ballrooms, and a lounge, providing a variety of hospitality options.
