Developed for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games, WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park is home to a variety of unique outdoor venues and activities fit for Calgary’s snowy winters and sunny summers that would be perfect for your special event, including:
- Downhill skiing and tubing
- Downhill karting
- Sightseeing chair lifts
- Mountain biking - downhill and x-country
- The Ice House - practice luge track
- 18 hole Mini-golf course
- Superpipe and terrain park
In addition, our 400,000 square foot Amphitheater is the perfect space for large outdoor events or concerts. It features a spectacular view of Calgary’s landscape to the north with iconic ski jump towers to the south. Its bowl shape ensures that the views are great from any location!
In the past, Canada Olympic Park has hosted the likes of Pearl Jam, Badlands Festival, Virgin Fest, and a number of 5k runs (Color Me Rad, Rugged Maniac, and X Warrior). In the winter, the park welcomes a number of regional, national, and world cup competitions.
