Attending a live event

Venue location

The event will be held at the WinSport Event Centre located in the Markin MacPhail Centre. Please use the map below to familiarize yourself with the entrance most accessible to you - including the newly opened entrance from 1st Avenue.

Parking

Please note, paid parking may be in effect for your event and is payable by cash only. Parking lots are indicated in white on the map below. We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes prior to the start time of the show to navigate any lineups.

Accessible parking is available free of charge in the designated lots. Guests looking to use these spots must have a valid accessible parking pass properly displayed on their vehicle.

Ticket Offices & Door Times

The ticket office will open 2 hours before the start of the event for will-call/ticket pick up, sales and questions. You will have to pass through security before accessing the ticket office. Lineups will form outside the venue – so make sure you dress for the weather.

Please note that each guest, including babies in arms, must have a valid ticket for the show.

Washrooms, Bars & Concessions

Washrooms are located inside the venue in the northeast and northwest corners of the walking track. Bars and concessions can be found throughout the venue and accept credit card, debit card, and cash. Please note that there are no cash machines inside the Event Centre.

What Can I Bring With Me?

There is no on-site storage at the Event Centre, so all items must be carried on your person or left in the seating area. All items left unattended are left at your own risk.

• Keys (please ensure that pocket knives are removed)
• Cigarettes, cigars, vapes and lighters (for use outside the facility only)
• Standard sized wallets and purses
• Over the counter medications (must be in original packaging)
• Prescription medication (Guest must have ID that matches the name on the bottle)
• Jackets

Prohibited items

• Large bags/purses, backpacks, coolers and
• Camelbacks
  (Bags may be subject to search upon entry)
• Outside alcohol or food (including bottled water)
• Water bottles
• Illegal drugs and paraphernalia
• Animals
• Cameras, Video or recording equipment
  Items intended for sale or promotion
• Any object that security may find unsuitable or may cause bodily harm
• Umbrellas
• Laser pointers
• Selfie sticks
• Beach balls, soccer balls, or any other items deemed a projectile
• Fireworks

Safety & Security

The following will not be tolerated at the event and may result in immediate removal from the site.

• Harassment (verbal or physical) or aggression towards other patrons, staff, or officials
• Property damage to the facility
• Throwing items at other patrons, staff, performers, or officials
• Use of narcotics of any kind and other controlled substances
• Intention to use or sell narcotics in the concert and park venue
• Weapons of any nature, items that can be used as a weapon or deemed a potential weapon.

If you witness or suspect any illicit or illegal activity, please notify WinSport security or Calgary Police Services immediately.

Smoking & Vaping

Designated smoking areas will be located outside the venue for your convenience. Please note that these are considered a public area and as per City of Calgary bylaw, cannabis is not to be consumed on-site.

First Aid

Medical staff will be roaming and available for the duration of the event.

Reselling & Refunds

Only tickets purchased through Ticketmaster are guaranteed authentic. There are no refunds or exchanges available on tickets.

Latecomer policy

Based on the performers preference latecomers could be seated at a suitable break.
